SENSOR SYSTEM FOR THE RELIABLE DETECTION OF VEHICLES
The 8 series, the new flagship range of BG Drives loop detectors, addresses the market for advanced vehicle detection systems in a slimline design. Our algorithms for automatic frequency selection (AFS) have been refined and optimized, making it easier to install and commission complex multilane entrance control systems. The new wireless DUE800 diagnostic unit is supported by 8 seriesdetectors, making it possible to configure the detectors and activate the installation feedback function on all iOS and Android devices. Mechanical interfaces therefore no longer need to be adjusted once the detector is installed.
The new slimline housing for DIN rail mounting enables more physical connections to be made, while the innovative modular principle means that the detectors can be complemented by further elements such as relay outputs, communication channels and interfaces.
8 series detectors operate extremely reliably, so that you can depend on them even in the most complex installations. They are available as one- and two-channel versions, with either relay or optocoupler outputs.

PDE180 SPECIAL FEATURES
he PDE180 is the slimmest of the BG Drives parking detectors, facilitating installation in even the most physically constrained environments. Its maximum external measurements are 94 mm x 94 mm x 22.5 mm.
The innovative expansion port on the PDE180 allows for the addition of modules to the system, such as more relay outputs, detection channels and communication modules.
Automatic frequency selection (AFS) automatically examines the detector environment and sets the optimum operating frequency to ensure minimum interference and maximum reliability, significantly reducing installation time. The frequency can also be set manually via a wireless configuration channel.
In the event of a power failure, the PDE180 will retain the presence of the vehicle until power is restored. The PDE180 is also able to determine if a vehicle has driven onto the loop while the power is off, and detects it immediately when the power returns. This is most useful in applications where damage to vehicles could otherwise occur (e.g. rising bollards). The Powerfail memory is unlimited.
A comprehensive diagnostic function enables the accurate diagnosis of loop and installation problems to be made, as well as facilitating configuration adjustments to eliminate errors. The DUE800 unit and the Integr8 app from BG Drives are used for this.
This is all made possible by the BG Drives diagnostic tool and Service app.

SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE DUE800 DIAGNOSTIC UNIT
The DUE800 is a hands-free, WLAN diagnostic unit and is compatible with the latest 8 series loop detectors from BG Drives. The DUE800 provides a wireless communication channel with the loop detector, thereby allowing complete detector configuration and installation verification.
The unit plugs into the front of the latest 8 series parking detectors and transfers data to and from the detector via the USB connection. A BG Drives diagnostic app, Integr8, is available for download for both iOS and Android operating systems in smartphones and tablets from their respective stores.
Data between the smart device and the loop detector are sent over a WLAN link to the Service app, which displays the detector configuration and installation information. Data displayed include graphical and text-based representations of loop excitation frequency, loop frequency drift, minimum and maximum loop frequency deviation and all detector configurations.
Changing configuration parameters in the Service app will update the settings on the loop detector accordingly, and the installation feedback will be updated. The Service app has the capability of generating PDF reports based on the data gathered by the DUE800 diagnostic unit. These reports may then be used for customer acceptance inspections and future reference purposes.
