Controlled access to properties and buildings is becoming increasingly important for security. Recognising people, controlling the flow of people or targeted access control have become necessary in many plant areas. Turnstiles from BG Drives offer an optimum solution for reliable access control. In combination with modern access control systems, they are virtually impregnable and provide protection without cost-intensive labour costs. The turnstile can be operated manually by the user or with the optional servo drive. The turnstile systems in the BGD SECURITY GATE series can be controlled separately for both directions of passage and are equipped with a multifunctional control unit in conjunction with a robust and maintenance-free locking unit.

Tampering is effectively prevented by an integrated back check, so that unauthorised access is impossible. As further protection against tampering, the turnstile has integrated climb-over protection as standard and the behaviour in the event of a power failure is freely selectable. The BGD SECURITY GATE turnstiles are supplied pre-configured and enable quick and convenient installation and commissioning on site. Alternatively, the turnstiles can also be supplied fully assembled in conjunction with a foundation frame.
